I’m sure you all agree these new features are simply fantastic! The joint venture between LCDC and Matrix Orbital has turned out yet another golden egg. After talking with Henry I was let in on the little secret; seeing as I’m not very good at keeping them, here it is. It seems that up until this point, all past owners of Matrix Orbital displays have been a part of one giant beta test. That’s right the MX212 will be leaving its brothers and sisters, the MX4, MX5 and MX6 behind as it’s destined for the coveted retail shelves! Soon this package will be available at your local Best Buy, CompUSA and many others. In a way, many of us will be disappointed to see this move as it means it’s not long until these displays will be found in every computer in every household; though I’m sure this would make Henry and Matt two very happy campers. The release date of the newly designed MX212 is July 1st 2003. The quantities will be limited in the US at first as most of the product will be heading over to Europe. That means plenty of time to start saving now, this will be one purchase that’s sure to not disappoint.
