The 5700 Ultra SPECs

The 5700Ultra is the first Nvidia GPU to be fabricated by IBM using a .13 micron die size. NV35 technology supports the same CineFX 2.0 and better performing vertex shaders.

The AA5700U Apogee comes in an eye catching retail box.

The front of the box has the artwork, and the back tantalizes you with all the goodies inside. Chaintech was even thoughtful enough to include a handle on the box to make it easier to carry out of the store :) Inside the box all the accessories are well packed to protect them during delivery.

Along with the video card, the box came with the usual installation CD, manual, assorted cables, adaptors, WinDVD 4, WinDVD Creator, WinRip, WinProducer 3.0, 3Deep, one combo CD with 5 games on it (Age of Wonders2, Serious Sam2, Rally Trophy, Max Payne, and Tropico), and the new Commandos 3: Destination Berlin game (see specs below for the itemized list).

The card itself is a very nice looking unit.

It comes on a brown PCB board with a gold fan cover, gold and chrome heatspreaders, and a gold rear plate.

The main fan assembly on the card has two fans mounted around a nice set of copper fins that provide for excellent cooling with minimal noise. The bottom of the card has a gold heatsink for the memory modules with a sharp looking chrome Chaintech plate on top of it. Overall, the card struck me as looking very well thought out and the brown/gold combo give it a unique appearance from the other FX cards that I have seen lately.
