W00t!! One of my most favorite things to review, are mousepads. Why, you ask? Because out of all the mousepads I’ve tried, I still haven’t found one that I am completely satisfied with (rather, one that I didn’t want to chuck out the window).

Since I started gaming last year, I have rapidly swapped from one mousepad to the next. Unreal Tournament 2003 is the primary game that I play, so moving quick and precise is important. I have small hands and I have found that the Logitech Mx500 is perfect for me. Unfortunately, I used an Everglide mousepad for about 3 months and it wore a flat spot in the pad and filed my poor mouse feet right off. Thus, I am not fond of rough textured mousepads, so I was on the look-out for a smooth surface. Last weekend I went to a LAN party and was given a mouse pad that is said to be as smooth as ice, the Icemat. A new company and a new product, I was excited to see just how this Icemat performed.
