Conclusion

I must say, this board has proved to be a sheer joy. From the piles of extras and add-ons to the built-in cutting edge technology such as ATA133 and DUAL DDR400; I can’t imagine what more I could ask for. Or could I?

Well I do have few gripes here and there, such as the two Chaintech sites www.chaintech.com.tw and www.chaintech-usa.com; they’re not quite synced up. You’ll have to check both for the latest bios and driver releases as theirs no telling which one will be updated first, if at all. Tech support isn’t exactly a shining star either. I threw a few simple questions at them and the answers I got back were poorly thought out at best. Here are just a few of the more amusing responses, “We're still trying to figure [that] out” and “I was mistaken”. These are hardly the things you want to hear when in a time of need and I expected much better from one of the now, larger names in the industry. Overall though, I’d have to say the Pro’s far outweigh the Con’s for this board. I’d whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone on the lookout for their next AMD based setup.
