Cooling,
cooling…cooling. You hear it constantly. Modders and PC users
are going to extremes trying to keep their valuable rigs cool. Using
CPU cooling, case cooling, GPU cooling and more, to increase the
life and performance of hardware. Often neglected is the most vital
part of the PC, the hard drive. Usually it sits working its disk
off, buried in an enclosed bay with a CD-Rom on top of it and a
floppy tucked nearby. The CoolDrive 3 is a hard drive cooler designed
to bring the hard drive from the crowded 3 ¼ bay into a 5
¼ drive bay and give it the recognition it deserves, using
a fan to keep it cool in the process. Cooler Master is one of the
few companies to design a product for hard drive cooling. Cooler
Master never fails to introduce a quality, attractive product. I
was anxious to see exactly what the CoolDrive 3 could do for my
hard drive.
