“Hey
man, can you move your case over?” “I need more space for my keyboard
and mouse!” We've all heard it before, maybe even said it ourselves.
For gamers and especially those that go to a lot of LANs, desk space
can be hard to come by.
Fortunately,
Belkin stepped forward to answer the call with their Nostromo n50 “SpeedPad”.
Combining the best features of a mouse, keyboard and gamepad, the n50
quickly became one of the best gaming devices on the market. With its
ergonomic design, fully programmable keys and minimal learning curve,
the n50 took the place of the keyboard for millions of gamers across
the world.
And then
a new wave hit… The Nostromo n52's design and features were
based on the gaming community's concerns with the n50. Belkin claims
the new n52 “captures all the advantages of its critically acclaimed
predecessor, the n50, and cranks up the juice with advanced options.”
I couldn't wait to see the improvements, but at the same time I hoped
that Belkin didn't try to cram in too many features. Let's see what the
n52 has to offer.
