Some choices are pretty simple when building a PC today. Usually the choice is between, Intel or AMD, Nvidia or ATI, and Creative or Creative. You are going to buy one or the other. Sometimes it is personal preference and sometimes it is all about the size of the pocketbook. A few years back, all RAM was the same to me. I never knew the brand name of the RAM I was using. I would always go with the cheaper products. Hell, 512mb is 512mb, right?

After numerous issues with “bad” sticks of RAM, I started to research a little more in-depth. From what many reviews were saying, there really is a more supreme RAM. Since then, a plethora of new companies have started marketing and specializing in faster RAM.

Since I am talking about RAM, well I am going to introduce you to a company called SimpleTech. SimpleTech is a company that produces and markets memory and storage products for nearly every application possible; from industrial computers to home and office setups.

impleTech has introduced a new line of RAM called the Nitro series. This high speed memory comes in many speeds, but today I will be putting the Nitro PC3500 1GB Kit to the test.
