In good old Zalman fashion, the package is a bold blue color. The VF900-Cu comes with more than just the HSF. It includes the Zalman Fanmate which is a rheobus packaged in a small enclosure about 2/3 the size of a CCFL transformer. The kit also includes 8 ram sinks for the memory on the card, thermal paste, manual and mounting hardware.

The actual heatsink is made of pure copper and weighs in at 185grams. It's not light but by no means should it cause you to worry. For those of you that don't remember, the VF700 series shape could best be described as 3/5 of a circle. The VF900 is simply a circle. Unlike the VF700 series, the 900 includes two heat pipes that run from the base of the unit to the outside edge of the fins. The two pipes make a complete circle around the unit. I would assume that the heatpipes, along with the extra surface area, will make for quite an improvement over the 700 series. It also offers an incredibly well lapped surface.
