Heat…by
now I’m sure that everyone knows it’s one of the last things
that you want in your computer. There have been many products designed
to entice you to buy that perfect cooling solution.. Some manufacturers,
like Delta, use high air flow. Others, like panaflo, create fans with
a good decibel to airflow ratio. And who could miss the thousands of LED
fans that have been tossed at us over the years?
So now that
you’ve built your rig, and bought the high-end thermal paste, you
want to try overclocking. You bump up your FSB, adjust your voltage and
multiplier. Everything seems fine at first….then after a little
while your PC shuts down. You can’t figure exactly why, but you
decide to give up for the night. The next morning, you wake up and on
the first press of the power button it works fine. Puzzled you try to
figure out what happened. Perhaps it has nothing to with your heatsink
fan (if you have stock HSF, perhaps it does). Maybe you just need more
airflow overall to get cold air into the case.
On the other
hand…lets say you’re not into overclocking. You’ve built
your rig, and you have the window, but you still think it’s kind
of lame. You have the blinding cathodes on the sides, but those big, fat,
ugly, black fans still glare back at you. In either of these scenarios
you need better, “cooler looking” fans. Power Cooler might
have just what you need.
