Years
ago, about the only form of illumination you could find on the
average computer was a simple Power, HDD activity, possibly a
Turbo (for you old 386-SX folk) LED, and the occasional green
LED when the ‘ol floppy drive was in use. Nowadays, there’s
a smorgasbord of options available to all case modders alike.
From your average Cold Cathode to UV reactive fans all the way
to tri and quad LED fans, the manufacturers are in a constant
state of product evolution.
Two of the most common products you’ll find in many of
today’s modded gaming rigs would probably be a Cold Cathode
(or two, or three, or more!) and a LED illuminated fan. Well,
the folks at Sunbeam came up with a product that combines the
best of both those worlds and introduced a line of CCFL illuminated
fans. Today, we’ll be looking at their tri-colored model,
giving your case a hue of red, green and blue.
