Sunbeamtech
has been bringing us the hottest stuff in modding for quite some
time. The Sunbeam rheobus has been out over year but we felt it
more than worthwhile to take a look at this popular item. We’ve
had it for some time now but I guess it got lost in the shuffle.
I know I’ve had a Sunbeam Rheo installed on GrunT for a good
3 months. I’ve used a lot of different brands built on the
same board including the PCMods
version and really have a good feel for it.
Rheobus’s
are one of the most popular mod items because they’re just
so plain useful. Fan’s and lights can be controlled from one
nice unit that fits in one bay. Rheostat devices are also being
included in case designs and even LCD’s as in the Matrix
Orbital we reviewed recently. The Sunbeam is a standard unit
with no other functions and we’ll see how it takes the juice.
