More and more companies are getting into the modding business daily. Enermax, who’s been around for thirteen years, has a solid fan base in their many modding products; especially their cases. Trying to attract new modders, many case modding suppliers are straying from the DIY (do it yourself) crowd, who already enjoy a plethora of modding gadgets and gizmos. These companies now target the DIFY (do it for you) crowd who may be more cautious then to take a cutting wheel to their costly case. In comes the pre-mod.

Pre-mods can often be a laughable sight for veteran modders who put countless hours and tons of effort into their projects, but these pre-modded products offer modding newbies the easy foot in the door feeling to give them ideas for future mods. Can a pre-modded case be a quality modded case? Of course, but it all depends on the product really.

We’ve been supplied with an Enermax CS-7181CBX today and hope to find out if this is a useful, well put together case or if it falls under "pre-mod junk" like so many others.
