Powered on, the cool blue 120mm LED fan shows through the bottom slots of the front bezel. But because of this, the dark upper slots on the door stick out. A couple blue LEDs behind the door would have completed the backlighting, and really made the front of this case stand out. But I am nit-picking here, mainly because it is extremely difficult to find anything wrong with this case!
The air flow of this case actually made a difference in CPU temperature, by about 4°. With my Sideview case (and old Raidmax), my CPU would idle around 43°, whereas now it idles about 39°. Not much, but to lose 4° just by switching enclosures is quite impressive! It’s like finding that extra bit of horsepower in your car just by installing a hood scoop.
Thanks to the entire case being aluminum, the whole thing only weighs 28lbs running. A plus when hulking your rig to LANs. |
