Normally when I get a product to review, I attempt to conjure up a brilliant and witty intro, citing grandiose claims and reputes from the manufacturer’s website.  This time, I thought I would quote Cooler Master’s own introduction verbatim, because I don’t think I could possibly make an improvement!

“Mystique—Fascination, Attitude, Mystery are the perfect words to describe the identity of Cooler Master’s new chassis series. The excitement and sense of achievement PC Modders sought after can all be found in this all-in-one package of elegance and sophistication. The notion of simplicity and versatility presents vast opportunity for you to expand your imagination. We emphasize on the attention to details and materials to accomplish a visual satisfaction and deliver sensational experience.”

If that doesn’t say it all, then I don’t know what will!

Case manufacturers are finally getting away from the “pre-mod” frame-of-mind and designing intuitive, functional enclosures to accommodate the latest computer technology rather than the token side window and cheap chrome plastic bezel.  For a modest C-note, you can now get a sturdy, light-weight aluminum case with tool-less fasteners, dual 120mm fans, and provisions for water-cooling.  The Mystique is Cooler Master’s latest effort in their push away from the “pre-mod” mainstream.

You may notice the box says “Wavemaster II,” but the case’s official production name is in fact the Mystique 631.  Apparently, Cooler Master changed the name after the pre-production run, from which they pulled this case to be reviewed.
