 Introduction

Well as you can tell, Antec has designed a new case specifically for LAN Parties. LAN parties are becoming ever so popular these days. Here in Kansas City, we have a lot to choose from. Two of the largest in town are the KC Beatdown and Mid-West Gaming League.

A LAN party is nothing more than a bunch of people on a Local Area Network playing games at 100Mbps. There are normally some tournaments and there’s always a bunch of food and caffeine on hand. The drawback to a LAN party is that you have to lug your computer and monitor from your house to the LAN and back again. This is the main reason we did a review of the case handles recently. It’s very awkward to carry a mid-tower or larger case. Monitors are also no cake walk either.

Antec comes to the rescue with the LanBoy case. It’s a mini-tower sized case with many mid-tower like features. There must be some LAN goes in the R&D Dept of Antec as they’ve put a lot of thought into what a gamer on the go is looking for.
