Background: My background is in technology. I’m well versed in ISP/data hosting, SMP and BeoWulf as well as server/ server array design and deployment. I've been a fan of "Modding" since I was entering my truck in low-rider competitions. Not sure what set this apart from everything else I was doing at the time but it's now my passion. I love each of the people listed below with all my heart as GruntvillE wouldn't be the same without them.

Background: Bona fide computer geek since 1980! Ran my own consulting business while in college and wound up at a few resellers doing everything from building PCs to designing networks. In 1997 I landed at CMP Media where I wrote reviews for the Computer Reseller News Test Center. Had over 50 reviews of products ranging from Kingston Turbo Chip CPU upgrades to Novell Netware for Small Business. I have also had the opportunity to have 2 articles published in Computer Reseller News, 2 reviews published in Network Computing and 1 in Information week. Somewhere in there I graduated college (1991), got married (1993), and bought a house (1999). In 2001 I first heard of modding, and did my awful First Mod (Nov 2001). I thought I could do better and in the summer of 2002 created BlackDeath, then found religion, um, I mean GruntvillE. John invited me to post my case in the new gallery and I found a great bunch of people and stuck around. Sometime that fall I wrote my first review for GruntvillE, and the rest is, as they say, history. In May 2003, I became a webmaster at GruntvillE. I'm currently employed as an IT Specialist for IBM Software Group.

Background:
Background: Computer junkie since my first introduction to a Tandy TRS-80 Model III in grade school. Attended Kansas State University @ Salina where I earned an Associates degree in Computer Science (originally worked towards a dual major with CS and Electrical Engineering). I've always had a curiosity towards learning how things work, electronics most especially. Even as a child I found myself "making the rounds" on trash day to find discarded electronics that I could open up and tear down. I'm not a very active modder, I think some of the ideas I have are too grand for my skills or lack thereof. I'm more of the go-to guy for questions and answers on all things technology.

Real Name: Brian Carter

Age: 37

Location: Northern California

Background: Born and raised in California , graduated Chico State University with a BA in Communication Design. Started out in graphic design, then migrated to video production for TV, specializing in video compositing and animation. I'm happily married with a 2yr old boy (the center of my universe).

Looking back on my past interests, I find there was a natural evolution that brought me here. In high school, I found myself interested in cars and hotrodding with my friends. With that same group of friends, I got into paintball. But at some point during college, we all got old and lazy, and realized we could shoot each other on computers over the internet. It then became a necessity to out-do each other's rigs. I was the first to add a window kit and a blue light to my case.

Case modding is basically a culmination of all my passions, past and present.
